Consortium area   BSCW home Forgot your BSCW password? Thanks to the kind support of the University of Koblenz-Landau, MOBIlearn has an "on-line collaboration environment" which helps documents sharing and meetings planning. Such an environment is based on the software BSCW (http://bscw.uni-koblenz.de/bscw/bscw.cgi), that is very user-friendly and offers full help on line, has been structured in workpackage folders.

MOBIlearn BSCW has been configured in such a way that email communications can still happen through existing mailing lists. When something happens (e.g. a file is uploaded) a notification message will be sent to the relevant list. In this way, the partners can:

• continue using actual mailing lists for email exchange and discussion;
• use the BSCW to exchange a document/URL (in the proper folder) or meeting (using the BSCW calendar).

Each partner can configure the BSCW for very detailed and punctual notification messages. Nevertheless, as a minimum and mandatory, the system is programmed to send a daily "activity report" for each WP (to the related mailing list) and for the general system (to the general mailing list).
