WP13 - Dissemination

Objectives

The objective of the dissemination WP is to ensure that the vision and results of MOBIlearn become as widely known and understood as possible.

Description of work

We plan a rich and complementary set of dissemination activities:

  • Establish the MOBIlearn Web site, with a password-protected section, where all deliverables can be downloaded, rather than sending paper copies. The PM will just notify the Project Officer when each deliverable is available (D13.1);
  • Preparation of a multimedia presentation of the project, which will include a slides presentation, a brochure, and CD/DVD leaflet and a video clip (D13.2);
  • Establish MOBIlearn Special Interest Group (SIG);
  • Gain press coverage (both national broadsheets and specialist press);
  • Participation in relevant conferences (a preliminary list is in part C);
  • Participation in relevant eLearning standardisation forum (IEEE, ISO, CEN);
  • Disseminate MOBIlearn through the management structures of participating partners;
  • Use exiting subject-specific forum, consensus creation forum (such as PROMETEUS) or concertation meetings (KA3 Education & Training, KA4 Mobile).

The MOBIlearn SIG includes already the following members (that aren't project partners): Firenze Musei, ERIKSSON, British Telecom, Motorola, Delft Technical University of Technology, KPN, CISCO, European Resuscitation Council, ORANGE UK, VODAFONE, and ALMA WEB. Partner 6 will manage this WP with contributions from all the partners.

  • PM4: D13.2 Dissemination and use plan
  • PM5: D13.3 Multimedia project presentation
