WP7 - Learning content management subsystem
|
|
Objectives
To design and to develop
the Learning Content Management Subsystem (LCMS) according to specifications
agreed in WP10 (D10.1 System architecture and design document). The functionalities
of this subsystem will be documented to be clear to end-users (mobile
learner).
Description of work
The work involves the following
tasks:
- Task 7.1 Specifications.
The subsystem specification document will be prepared to identify the
functional specifications to improve the existing LCMS, including the
Multi-Rendering Engine (MRE), the Semantic Priorities Tagging (SPT)
module with specifications (for WP5) about the device profiling according
to HTTP User Agent.
- Task 7.2 Design of LCMS prototypes.
This task will result in a design of the new components (MRE and SPT)
that are required for the LCMSS, the description of how they will be
interfaced with the existing LCMS and a precise definition of the capabilities
available in each prototype.
- Task 7.3 Implementation.
The implementation will be accomplished in three phases to support the
delivery of two prototype systems plus a final release version. Each
phase will include the following activities: Graphical User Interface
design, Coding, debugging and Integration. Implementation of the final
phase will also include full documentation to be used by content designers.
Incrementally improved releases of the subsystem
will be integrated in corresponding MOBIlearn prototypes (WP10) and evaluated
according criteria and cycles defined in WP2. Partner 1 coordinates WP7.
Deliverables
- PM6 D7.1 Learning content
management subsystem specification document
- PM26 D7.2 Learning content management final release
with documentation
Milestones and expected
result
- Result: Learning content
management subsystem developed, tested and documented. Study for a software
solution to automatically keep semantic relationships (internal report)
- PM11 M7.1 Learning content management first prototype
- PM17 M7.2 Learning content management second prototype.
